advise for weaning off tramadol and dealing with pain...encouragement too? I don't have a bad addiction to tramadol, I only take half a pill a few days a month, but it's kind of depressing either way, if I take it I feel really dehydrated, sleepy and get a headache, if I don't take it I have other pains...how do yall cope b/c I know I'm not the only one with this program...I'm so much happier on pain meds...I wish I could just have a normal life and feel happy but it is hard when your bogged down with pain...

JY replied: "I take it a few days a month for cramps, and it does sort of give you a high that can make it hard to get off of . . . but if the side effects are bad enough to make you uncomfortable you shouldn't keep taking it. Talk to your doctor, there may be another drug you can try to treat the pain. I don't know what your pain is from, so it's hard to suggest other ways to deal with it, but there may be physical therapy, etc, to help you. As far as getting off the tramadol, if you only take it a few days a month, stopping cold turkey shouldn't be too tough on your system. But you will miss it if it's not replaced with another drug. If you feel like you need it for the high as well, talk to a psychiatrist about maybe putting you on antidepressants, and see if there's not some other reason you want to take it. I would definitely tell the doctor that you feel like it will be hard to stop taking the tramadol. It's a valid concern and he should treat it as such."

I'm going cold turkey off of tramadol, any tips that can help me? Tramadol is a non narcotic but very addictive pre ion pain reliever. I tried weaning myself but my psychological dependence on the drug gets in my way. Do you have any advice or tips that might lessen the withdrawal or just make it a little easier? I'm taking 2 50mg pills twice a day, how long until the worst part of the withdrawal is over ad how long until i should feel normal again?

dan replied: "just stop taking them. You'll be fine. it's not like you are an alcoholic or a heroin addict. your body will adjust back to the way it was before in a couple weeks. When I quit smoking cigs I would chew gum or get a small bite to eat when I had an urge to smoke."

bigbirdmar replied: "my mum took herself off tramadol,I think it took a while for her to feel"normal"again, but she's fine now,,,just try and stick with it...good luck it will be worth it in the end.... :-)"

Chasn replied: "Going cold turkey is the only way with tramadol...it took me 9 days to get over the withdrawal effects and normal again can be another few weeks...depending on what you were taking it for in the first place"

Robin C replied: "i was on ultram for 2 weeks for mouth pain and the worst withdrawal symptom was this light nauseous feeling, it passes in about 3-4 days"

G replied: "Some drugs are dangerous to go off of cold turkey, I would recommend you speak to your doctor about this first, but as for the withdrawls and how long they will last, it depends on your total body weight, amount of body fat, and how much water you drink. The more water you drink the faster you will flush it out of you system. But don't go over board on the water either cause that can cause a water overdose. SO try to drink around 6 8oz glasses a day, but not all at once."

Brian W replied: "I also go cold turkey, after 3 days of feeling like crap [night sweats, insomnia , unbearable leg cramps, generally feeling tired and irritable] you will feel somewhat better. It usually takes a good week to feel normal. In the meantime take some tylenol p.m. or nyquil at bedtime.xanax or valium is best if you have some. I find tramadol withdrawls worse than anything, even heroin. Good luck!"

I'm going cold turkey off of tramadol starting Friday of this weekend? I tried weaning myself but my psychological dependence on the drug gets in my way. Do you have any advice or tips that might lessen the withdrawal or just make it a little easier? I'm taking 2 50mg pills twice a day, how long until the worst part of the withdrawal is over ad how long until i should feel normal again? tramadol is a non-narcotic but very addictive pre ion pain reliever ive been on them for almost two years

Billie77 replied: "Here's what I suggest you do to help you get over the psychological dependence on this drug. Believe me you will feel better after one week of doing what I have recommended. Here is what I suggest to get you over the worst part of the withdrawals. To help with the withdrawals take hot bathes with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts and soak for 30 minutes. The skin is the biggest organ of elimination and this will help pull out the drugs. Use a loofa to clean the pores and this will help pull the drugs out even faster. I recommend you drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. This will replace the minerals that are exiting your body continuously. I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day and 2c. a day of fresh carrot juice, to flush the medicine out of your liver. Taking 500mg of calcium and magnesium twice a day will help you to relax. Drink chamomile tea throughout the day and evening to help you stay relaxed. Use a powdered fiber supplement twice daily to pull the drugs out of your intestines where they store. Two of the questionnaires in this forum did follow this program to withdraw from drugs and it did help. I've enclosed a link where you can read their response to this program. If you have any further questions please let me know, Billie77 "

nurseflowergirl replied: "the best way to go off the med is to taper. try cutting the pills and taking portions.you may also use benadryl to keep yourself a little more calm, follow the directions on the bottle. then distract yourself the best you can.try pacving around. i dont know how long youve been on the med to say how long u will detox, but goodluck to you;)michele"

doktorangbaliw replied: "What I did was I finished all my tramadol and didn't get my Rx refilled even if I could. I made a decision to go off the meds and I stuck to it. Drink lots of water. Entertain yourself by reading a book, watch a movie, etc. Look for other ways to deal with the pain - the non-medical ones - exercise, diet, etc. My withdrawal symptoms lasted for about 5 days and I was on tramadol for about 4 years, 100mg twice a day. I even went up to 200mg twice a day for a time."

Can a dog get addicted to Tramadol in 4 days? My 11 yr old Great Dane has bone cancer, we where told this 3 yrs ago and at the time he was given 6 months. Due to the cancer he has become thin and someone reported me as starving him, He was removed from my care for 3 days and during the time was put on Tramadol 50mg. I had decided to treat holistically and was managing his pain, since he has been put on the drug he is now listless and can hardly walk. I was told the drug was addictive and that I cant take him off of it cold but that I would have to wean him off of it. I am wondering if he could be addicted in just 3 days as I would rather not give him drugs since he is now worse since he was put on them. Can I stop cold turkey and if not how can I wean him off, no one will tell me as they insist that I am being cruel by choosing to feed him a raw based diet and treat his cancer holistically. Any help, advice or personal experiences would be appreciated. Thanks for all the advice so far, Last night my dog was on the drugs and was very listless and not quite coherent when he went out to pee it was like he had forgot how to walk. I did not give him a pill today and he is now alert, coherent, sitting up on the bed, eating, and went out to the potty with no problems walking. I understand that he is terminal however after witnessing what the drugs where doing to him and seeing him all happy and alert tonight I have made up my mind to do the best to control his pain holistically and enjoy the time we have left. He is very good at letting me know when he is in distress and when the time comes we will do things at home with the family around him, but I am going to let him live as long as he wants too as I know he will let me know when he is ready to go. I know he would not enjoy life as a zombie so I am not going to make him live that way when there are other options out there.

Savanahs Mommy replied: "yes it is... its a type of morphine... I found this on it: What are the side effects ? If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking tramadol and seek emergency medical attention or contact your doctor immediately: an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives); or seizures. Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take tramadol and talk to your doctor if you experience dizziness, drowsiness, or headache; nervousness, tremor, or anxiety; nausea, vomiting, constipation, or diarrhea; or itching, dry mouth, or sweating. Tramadol is habit forming. Physical and / or psychological dependence can occur, and withdrawal effects are possible if the medication is stopped suddenly after prolonged or high-dose treatment. Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome. *****I might have a solution for you... the vet I worked for had used a homeopathic medicine...you could contact her via e-mail... its on her web page and she might be able to help you... she has a contact page...ask her and she could help you...smile GOOD LUCK!!! (she is great and you will love her!!)"

Yes I am here!! replied: "take him to half a pill . 50mg for a dog is fairly strong. Yes he could be addicted in the 4 days he has been on it. If he still lies around on half a pill go to a quarter or try to get a 25mg and cut it in half. When you get to a dose that he is able to take leave it there. Why make him suffer. The tramadol is not narcotic but it does have a tendency to mentally slow some animals down which makes them lie around if the dose is to large."

sniffydogs replied: "A raw diet and holistic treatment isn't going to treat cancer. It's like putting a band-aid on a broken leg. Your Dane has lived a long life. He is terminal and you aren't going to turn him around. Tramadol does work and I wouldn't take him off of it. Perhaps it's time to think about taking him to the bridge. Have a talk with your vet about humanely ending his suffering."

Sequel replied: "Do you love that dog? I want you to ask yourself How Much You Love That Dog? He has struggled for 3 years and has been in pain. Now you say he is bone-thin and can't even walk! You need to give your dog the most loving gift he ever had, and that is to let him go. Free him from pain, how long will you let it go on? Tell him you love him enough to give him peace. Very soon."

FruitCakeLady replied: "The dog is suffering. Do the right thing."

GG replied: "I too believe in trying natural homeopathics and such in treating my dogs and foster dogs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a raw diet. Many of my friends feed raw and their dogs are hale and hearty. You have to do what you feel is best for your dog.You sound like you're comfortable with your decision and know your dog well.I believe you'll make the right decision when the time comes and in the meantime you go ahead and love that old man up in his last days.My heart goes out to you b/c I too have a very senior boy who's almost totally deaf and blind with a heart murmur. He still loves life and his ambles around the backyard and comes on in following my voice.I know he too will tell me when it's time.I would probably wean him off it rather than cold turkey.I'd break the doses down in 1/2 over a few days.Just watch him for anything that's not his normal behavior."

Mandy replied: "You kept him alive for 3 years, the pills were supposed to help him but didn't, it did the opposite, I don't know about you or anyone else here but I would take that as a sign that its getting close to his time to go. I'm sorry."

How can i use medicine to treat my addiction to tramadol? For those of you that think tramadol is not addictive, thats BS! It is addictive and i am experienceing it first hand. I have been trying to wean myself off of it for the last 6 months with no improvement because when i lower my dose i have severe mood swings and become very angry and my energy levels are depleted, and i cant be a good mother to my 1 year old. When i PMS the bad symptoms get even worse so i increase my dose and im fine, but that puts me back right where i started. So now im looking into another way, medication. Will a doctor give me medication for this, what kind, and how can i take it without becoming addicted to it? Im determined to live a drug free life and the day im free of this addiction will be one of the best days of my life.

lovinit replied: "OMG I am going thru the same thing. I try to wean off and Im soooo sick. I have been addicted to other drugs (heroin cocaine meth) and they were easy to quit compared to tramadol. I wish I had an answer for you, but I dont I hope you will be ok and get thru this, best wishes. Me"

charleejo replied: "I think you are sooo awesome for going thru with this, especialy with a kid. I had to go to rehab from pain pills, I know first hand that tramodol IS addictive...I had just read another post where 3 ppl said it wasnt addicting! I would talk to your doctor, they will more than likely give you something else for the withdrawls. In rehab they gave me klonopin to keep the withdrawls down...plus a blood pressure medicine.....you might want to check yours if you havent already. I could talk about this subject all day, but I just really wish you luck for you and your baby! Unfortunatley the statistics arent all that great for us first time quiters....hopefully it only takes you once, if not then you are NOT a failure. When/if you do quite, please check out about going to an NA meeting. (Narcotics Annonymous) My family has gone for years, they can really help! I am sure they have a website, just dont know what it is, probably easy to google."

is it true . your brain will no longer make endorphins after opiat abuse so you will need pain management? im currently on tramodol and i've been on it for 8 months and i take on adverage 7 to 8 per day. someone said . your brain will no longer make endorphins after opiat abuse so you will need pain management. is this true. if so is it pointless for me to try and wean myself off? i've started to take less and i feel pretty bad. is this just a withdraw period or is this permanant? i read many stories of people weaning themselves off tramadol. thanks.

Irv S replied: "Your Doctor will know best for your case, but I was told that generally, the ability to make endophins does slowly regenerate."

phoenixBelle replied: "First, tramadol is NOT an opiate. It is not even a narcotic. It is habit forming, and has the potential for abuse. I have taken tramadol for over 2 years for a curvature of my spine and I thought I could manage my pain with otc meds. WRONG! What you are experiencing is withdrawl from this drug. The body is funny about being on any medication, and then it suddenly being taken away. People have actually reported more severe pain after stopping meds. Sometimes the brain will try to manipulate you into taking the meds. Hang in there."

have you experienced side effects or long term effects of the painkiller tramadol? husband had major surgery and was given tramadol as a matter for course - he had his op 5 weeks ago tomorrow and slowly been weaning himself off the 8 / day right down to just the 1 at night for the last week or so - he has been weeing for england yet doesnt drink lots, he as a dry mouth, constant fatigue - last night he decided not to take his tramadol and he got no sleep, he had restless legs and poured with sweat -he hardly wee'd - all day he's been restless - we assume he is suffering withdrawal symptoms - would like to hear other peoples stories - we've also read the side-effects and i have to say that we menitoned the weeing and the fatigue as a serious bother to 2 x different gp's and there it is in black n white on the leaflet in the box!!

Fing' replied: "Some good info about it here . . . It didn't effect me at all when I had it but everyone is different."

Angela M replied: "His best bet is to suffer the withdrawal for a couple of days. Tramadol is an absolute nightmare to get off, if you have been on it for any more than a few weeks.. My mum was given it last year when she was in hospital for a major bowel problem. We ended up asking the medical buffs to stop giving it to her. She had a few nasty days, following our request, but, eventually was able to get on with just some paracetamol.. If we had not been so forcefull with the docs, she would probably still be relying on it and it would have been us who would have to have dealt with the awful withdrawal symptoms that come with this drug!! Some drugs are fine for certain situations, in the short term. Tramadol is one of those. The quicker that you can get your husband off of it, the better!! Good luck.."

patsy replied: "yes these are side effects but they are not withdrawal symptoms some people are more affected by these capsules than others they work on the nervous system .i think they fool it in some way. I was on tramadol for years for serious back pain with no effects at all but my partner spent most of his time asleep on them so i think it all depends on your bodies reaction"

Question about opioid pain medication? I've just started on a synthetic opioid pain medication, the dose is to be raised over the next few weeks until it is quite high, and at that stage I will be using time release medication and or patches. The drug is called Tramadol. I want to know what it is like coming off this kind of medication. I definitely want to wean off it as soon as I am able too, and want to know what to expect when that happens. Thank you.

puddles replied: "i took that before, it is not really addicting like percs or vic, it doesn't make you high either. i would not worry about withdrawal. just decrease the dose to be safe be sure to find out what meds you cannot take with tramadol, i know there are a few that would be dangerous to take with this drug"

Alissa, R.N. replied: "there is a limit to how much tramadol you can take on a daily basis - no more than 100mg per dose or 400 mg per day. Coming off the medication, some people can stop cold turkey, others have to taper down. It doesn't typically cause the dependency effects like narcotics but can in some people. What to expect - like I said it's different with different people. You may have no problem just stopping it. But, the longer you're on it, the more likely you are to have issues coming off of it."

Jade replied: "I've taken Tramadol for over a year now for Fibromyalgia and I have recently decided it's no longer helping. I have stopped taking it and have had no side effects from not taking it anymore. I have found that Motrin or Advil helps as much as Tramadol. The Tramadol always gave me sort of a headache so I'm glad not to take it anymore. Good luch."

Mac S replied: "Hey there Lidybeffw/2fs --d03826a1.html#d03826a1-sideeffects Have taken it for fibromyalgia (my current, possible forever condition)...Didn't really like it. The side effects in the link above were too true for me. Worth trying...yet if you do suffer the side effects and feel they outweigh the positive results....just quit. I had no problem going cold-turkey. Feel better actually w/out. Lord knows my body's beaten up enough. See below. Good diet and mediocre excersize may help more than meds. The narcs will certainly help w/ pain, yet can be addictive...way more difficult to wean from. Doesn't it just svck gettin' older? I know...things are not so great about here lately. I'm feeling your pain from waaaaay overseas. 2nd and 3rd opinions are in order. A daily journal of positives vs.negatives is always a good habit to follow. Obviously you're not doing as well as I'd been praying for. Do your homework Liddy....you'll be alright. Just take care of yourself and get opinions...kinda like here. Btw, the "Dr." first response I believe...he/she is just that. a Dr. They all claim to know the solutions, yet have never suffered the pain. It's all just theory to the healthy crowd."

Ravencalls replied: "Hi Lib ! just finding out about what seems to be quite a very difficult time for you.. sad to hear ..my thoughts are with you may you remain strong . I truely hope you get better... ~ huggs~ Now about this Tramadol... PLEASE only take these as a last resort. its well worth the effort to do some research in finding other more "natural" medicens...(herbs, plants..etc..) and alternatives to any of these so called " Mass produced quick fix Pharmaceuticals" take care !"

What is going on with my new puppy? Background information: I purchased a Cane Corso puppy born 4/3/09 from a reputable breeder, obtained the puppy on 7/7/09 she had already been given a 7way DHLPPC on 7/3/09 and a Drontal dewormer, puppy came from a litter of 15, both parents were on premiss when purchased, breeder feeding Purina One. I took her to the veterinary hospital where i work the same day i got her & she was running a slight temperature (103) the doctor said this could have been due to the fact that she vomitted & had a bowel movement in my car b/c she was car sick. That day i ended up giving her 1st bordetella & she got cephalexin to be given orally for a small cut on her paw as well as panalog to apply to that. This is where the problem sets in: July 8-gave heartworm pill (sentinel), applied panalog, gave strongid dewormer, gave cephalexin BID, did a stool sample check (came back negative), had semi formed stool. July 9th-cephalexin BID, panalog TID, firm stool July 10-cephalexin BID, panalog TID, loose stool July 11-cephalexin BID, panalog TID, loose stool frequently July 12-cephalexin BID, panalog TID, loose stool frequently July 13-scheduled for ear crop, ran bloodwork & came up anemic doctor opted not to do surgery for a week though eating habits were normal, gums were pink, & puppy was acting fine, cephalexin BID, panalog TID, loose stool frequently July 14-talked to a 2nd doctor at my clinic decided to run another fecal came up negative, started panacur, cephalexin BID, panalog TID, had diarrhea July 15-2nd dose of panacur, cephalexin BID, panalog TID, 1 spoonful of plain yogurt, had diarrhea July 16-Was advised to take off cephalexin (had only 1 pill in AM), 1 spoonful of yogurt, 3rd & final dose of panacur, panalog TID, had diarrhea July 17-talked to 3rd doctor about diarrhea gave diathol shot for diarrhea 9am & 9pm, started feeding canned science diet I/D TID, started metronidazole, & diatro BID, applied panalog TID, had diarrhea w/ small amounts of blood in stool, discussed this w/ doctors at work they are clueless as to what it could be. July 18-2nd dose of strongid dewormer, diathol shot 1pm, 1/4 pill of metronidazole, I/D fed only, loose stool AM, firmer stool PM July 19-metronidazole BID, I/D fed only, had to withhold food due to possible surgery the next day July 20-ran bloodwork again, still anemic but improved from previous week bloodwork, doctor still opted not to do surgery, received metronidazole & diatro AM only, weaning off I/D back to Nutro large breed puppy food, firm stool July 21-took off ALL meds, weaning off I/D, gave vaccines (2nd bordetella, DHLPP, rabies), semi loose stool July 22-loose stool, doctors say start Albon pills to exhaust any underlying parasites or bacterial infections. Had 2 albon pills, loose stool July 23-2nd day of Albon 1 pill, checking for possible food allergy and weaning off Nutro Large breed puppy food onto Merrick Puppy plate, very loose stool July 24-Ran bloodwork and another stool sample check, stool came back negative and bloodwork again improved but not 100%, doctor opted to do ear crop, had diarrhea PM, weaning onto Puppy Plate by Merrick, 3rd day of Albon, Tramadol BID for pain, got pain shot as well July 25-ears healing fine, still has diarrhea, weaning onto Merrick Puppy Plate, tramadol BID for pain from ear crop Sorry for the long explanation but does ANYONE have any guesses as to why the diarrhea still? It IS controllable diarrhea (she is having no accidents in the house or crate) but its still such loose stool. i work at a clinic w/ 8 veterinarians that are puzzled. I was considering maybe switching food again but don't know if thats where the problem lies i'm so lost and confused! Merrick is considered a very good food but also almost human grade so maybe its to much for her, please help!

Full Pawtential Dog Training replied: "I sorta skipped through this. I'm not a vet or anything but why not change the food for a week and see if it helps."

Bonnie L replied: "Too long to read, but I did catch a portion that said you had ears cropped. Why? That is cruel and inhumane and NOT necessary if you don't plan on showing."

Nicole replied: "no clue but would like to say i work at an animal hospital as well and i know for a fact if running a fever or any sign of being sick your dog should have not been given vaccines under any circumstances as it can agitate them worse or give them a reaction. they should have told you to come back. my cat needed its fliv/aids shot as he was coming to a year old and was sick so they said to come back for the shots. but i dont see why the problem is on going. maybe stress is my best guess."

Eno replied: "I don't know the answer sorry. 8 vets one should have an answer. maybe they need to take her in for observation. Why cropping the ears? Can they do some tests on her?"

PM replied: "Several reasons, which your many veterinarians should have considered. The one that strikes me as particularly odd is the use of Drontol dewormer one day followed by Strongid the very next day. Most dewormers are not to be given daily, but every 2-4 weeks depending on the brand. The only dewormer that I know of that has a daily regimen is Panacur--for 5 days with a repeat dose 3 weeks later. Drontol and Strongid are both given for only 1 day. I also noticed too many food changes --especially for a new pup joining a new home and needing time to simply adjust to the changes that involves. She started on Purina One and should have remained on that brand for at least least 3 weeks before considering any food changes. You never mention when you began Nutro Large breed puppy food, but on July 24 you were already switching to Merrick Puppy Plate. Food changes are the single greatest cause of loose stool for many dogs. Assuming that you are still feeding Merrick, stick to it and do not do another food change for a good 3 months to let her system settle down. Unfortunately, many owners neglect to tell the vets that they have just done a food change at all. Secondly, strongid dewormer, metronidazole, albon and panacur are are ALL very strong treatments for parasite and bacterial infections of the intestine. Panacur kills the 3 major types of worms,so strongid and metro are pretty much a case of overkill--and possible diahhrea. When given in combination they will cause the symtoms that you describe. In fact in my 30 years of breeding dogs, I have never known a single veterinarian who would prescribe all of these medications together or even in the span of a few weeks of one another. Each of these medications is usually given alone and allowed to work without interfering with the body's natural flora. To give them all would actually kill all intestinal flora and cause the body to have no living organisms at all--which is not good and can cause severe diahreea. Now you need to return the good bacteria to the dog's intestine rather than continue to kill all the bacteria. Notice that your appearance of loose stool seems to follow one day of each treatment with parasite meds or a new food change. That tells a great deal about the likely cause. I am very concerned about the veterinary care here as it seems they have decided to over medicate and just throw everything against the wall to see what works, and that may well be the problem. I have also never heard of a vet who would do even an ear crop given the issues with the dog and the many meds it is on. The worst thing you could do would be to make a food change. Keep on the Merrick, get off the deworming meds , and just be sure to get the last in the series of 3 vaccinations done. Do not get rabies on the same day as any deworming or his 3rd vaccination as it is possible that he has some issues with vaccines as well. In fact, I noticed that you did not mention the brand name of the 7way DHLPPC --if it is Duramune by Fort Dodge--that may be part of the problem. Fort Dodge seems to have a decade long history of allergic reactions to their vaccines for some dogs, but most often with their rabies vaccines. My vet will no longer use Fort Dodge products because of this even though their vaccines are more cost effective. This sounds like an unfortunate case of overmedication and duplication of medications for the same issue that has adversely affected the dog. His slight temperature on the day you got him may have well been caused by infection setting in the slight cut on her paw that you mentioned the first day that you got her."

how long does it take to feel normal again after going cold turkey on tramadol 100mg tablets? i have been taking 100mg tramadol tablets for about a year now.i have had problems with my back for about fifteen years now.at first the doctors prescribed me with a high dosage of co codamols.they worked fine allthough i felt high as a kite on them.my body became immune to these tablets so the doctor prescribed me 100mg of tramadol tablets.they worked brilliant for the pain but now my whole life revolves around these blasted tablets.im very mood, can be very depressed,my sex drive has totally gone, when i go on a night out,i cant enjoy myself as alcohol doesnt mix with painkillers.i have now decided to try and come off these tablets cold turkey.ive tried the weaning method but couldnt handle the pain,so im just going to go cold turkey and be rid of theses tablets...for good! i want my life back and enjoy life again!!! ive read different opinions of what kinds of withdrawals to expect.to be honest im not scared because like i said i want to be normal again.my wife and i have set a date for when i will go cold turkey, which will be friday 21st november 2008.weve set up our spare room for my rehab.ive just got a bed and a tv with my games console, not like i will be in the mood for it.plus loads of lucozade and need to buy loads of soup because that will be all i will want to eat.if anyones got any idea what day i will begin to show signs of when i will be normal again would be great.just a day so it gives me a goal to aim for.everybody has there own way of coming off prescribed pain killers, this is mine.just want to flush them out of my system forever!!!

Megan replied: "I really don't know how anyone can be addicted to tramadol!? There isnt any narcotics in them,it's just like taking a tylenol. I refuse to take them when they are prescribed to me,because i may as well just take a tylenol. Now vicodin or percocet ya! but not ultram."

ricks_incolorado replied: "Good luck to you and your plight. i'm on tramadol, 50 mg tabs for over a month now and I'm feeling like I am really enjoying the pain killer. I'm gald you posted this question because now I can see what my future may hold. I hope you get the answer your looking for."

nona yabidness replied: "ur going thru withdrawls sweetie. u taper off of the pills, never stop cold turkey. that way u dont go thru the dt's. but if this is the way u wana go, its gonna be a while until ur over them. about a week or 2. taper off of them, dont quit cold turkey."

Robin G replied: "The first thing you need to do is figure out why your sex drive is low and try to help get it back. I was in your situation and it's not fun without being horny and feeling in the mood when needed. I also felt like my orgasms (if I would even get one) were really weak. Probably because of my sex drive. However, I tried exercising and dieting but nothing seemed to be working. I thought I was screwed. I then found something just as amazing as the vibrator. My friend at work told me about this stuff she took to raise her sex drive. It was a natural herbal supplement and was I lucky to of found it. Theres no side effects and the sex drive is just tremendous along with orgasms that are blasting. The stuff is called Hersolution pills. At the time I saved money on them at herenhancement.com What I did was tried out for 3 months and that was really it. I found taking them every other day or so was the best to stretch it out. After the months were up, I was back to normal with a beating sex drive and my orgasm strength in increased so much. Well good luck and I hope this helps."
